Provillus Reviews – Does Provillus Really Work?

Because Provillus is not a fly-by-night company with a shady product, it has accumulated quite the massive collection of consumer reviews.
This makes my job incredibly easy as a product reviewer, as there is no shortage of material to dissect.
But it’s as a hair loss sufferer who has personally used Provillus that I find my job to be a complete and utter piece of cake! In fact, if you don’t mind, I’ll start with my own personal experience for you.

My own review would go something like this…
“Provillus – Why Did I Ever Stop?”
It didn’t take a lot of convincing. I was sold on Provillus right away. I had these grand visions in my head of a Lee Murray (that’s me) from 10 to 15 years ago, with a completely full and well-styled head of hair. I knew that Provillus was the magic bullet that would return me to my former self.
Oh, the tricks we can play on ourselves.
I saved up my pennies and invested 200 bucks + shipping and handling in a six-month supply of the product. I was mostly diligent with my treatment, only “forgetting” to use it a few times. By about the two week mark, it seemed like the bald spot on the crown of my head wasn’t quite as “white” and noticeable.
By around the one month mark, I started receiving my first unsolicited comments from those who knew me well, namely my wife.
About four months in, the gap in the back had definitely closed to a considerable degree, and I completely stopped blinding people with all of my shiny whiteness! But there was little to no improvement at the widow’s peak.
I found it quite discouraging that the front of my hairline wasn’t getting any better. It wasn’t getting any worse, but again, my expectations were through the roof. In my particular case, desperation + naivety = irrational optimism. My expectations were far too high.
That being said, by the time my six months were up, the condition of my hair had improved considerably. Provillus hooked me up with a nice full head of hair on the crown (and by full, I mean 85 to 90 percent full… good enough).
It is also worth noting that when I discontinued use of the product, it wasn’t because I was unhappy with it, but rather because I ran out of product and couldn’t afford any more at the time. So I just let it go, and shortly thereafter DHT started having its way with me again.
Today I just shave my head. I don’t do so because I “gave up the dream,” but instead because I fell in love with the style for myself. In other words, I don’t want no stinking hair!

The bottom line is it was sincerely working for me… not to the level I had initially hoped it would… but it was working all the same.
I personally recommend Provillus to anyone who wants to close the gaps on their head, but who is also realistic in their expectations. NOTHING will turn you back into a teenager – not Provillus or anything else! But there is a very good chance you will get some hair back, and that it will be a very noticeable improvement.
